irritated. ppl can accuse me of anything in the world, but they can NEVER accuse me of being late. that's sth i rarely (almost never, unless in unforeseen circumstances) am and for work, i'm definitely never ever late. but here.. dearly beloved SPH is accusing me of being late. and how do they judge? all based on a guy called Edward. you see, Edward went down on 31 May 2007 and claimed that he did not see any staff working. well, i'd give a few reasons:

(1) it was bloody freaking crowded cos it was Vesak Day and it was the first day of PC fair. Anybody who went down to suntec convention centre that day would know what i mean.
(2) out of the 9 people who are usually working, dear SPH told 6 to not go! so the 3 people who were working went to the booth outside Hall 404 (the most popular booth over the first 6 days)
(3) dear Mr Edward did not even walk to Hall 404, even though he insisted he did, which is damn crap cos not one of the 3 ppl saw him.
(4) Besides, Edward can't say that he didn't see anybody on that day cos he saw ME! well, he even came up to talk to me! and that was slightly before 11am (the time when we were supposed to start work) it was then that he found out that 6 out of the 9 did not have to come down that day (shows how efficient SPH is)

so in short, Edward is a bloody liar and SPH is being freaking dumb, unreasonable and plain stingy. you don't try to cut cost like that. and hell, you print papers for the entire Singapore, i'm sure you have money to spare and not pick on us like that! Use your brains (if you have any) and think before acting. Don't make yourselves so charitable by deducting only half of what YOU THINK you should be deducting, cos you SHOULD NOT and have NO RIGHT to be deducting any of our pay.
